Game review: Growth

You don’t have any friends.

Liz England

Summary: This is actually a hilarious short horror game. Making use of little text and keeping it to the point, solving the growth.

Introduction to the game

There is a growth on your hand. You don’t remember when it started, but it is here now. No introduction, nothing. The game starts. The game features no audio, just one image, and a few clickable links. We are literally thrown in the dark here. The game was submitted to Twiny Jam (sadly it doesn’t learn us much more, except the jam’s rule was: 300 words max.)!

My opinion

This is actually a hilarious short horror game. Making use of little text and keeping it to the point, solving the growth. This little time killer isn’t a replayable game, but it made me laugh the first time I played it. Essentially we are following a forced perspective, a pessimistic and sad one, but we are to follow it. There is little I can say about this game, or conclude, there is no deep hidden layer, just a simple linear storyline.

Sadly I found no way to contact the developer, but I am still trying too!
